RESERVES UNBEATEN RUN CONTINUES
Our reserves kept up their unbeaten run with a 1-1 draw away to Palace Guard. In the 12.30 kick off in Keston, Centaurs took a first half lead through Matt McCay and looked good value for their lead. But an early second half goal from the home side was eventually enough to earn them a point.
A few comments should be made about Palace Guard.Their administration is appauling. When we arrived at the ground and saw someone on the gate in a Palace shirt playing a banjo we should have known what to expect. There was no changing room and the boys had to change amongst the children also playing there. There was also no showers. They had managed to put their own referee on the game. And finally the goal at one end was about a foot shorter than it should be.We sincerely hope we dont have to go there next season, that is if Palace Guard manage to retain their place in the league.
